Connect Chemistry with LearnSmart 2 Semester Access Card for Chemistry
You are buying access to an online application. Access can be purchased in two different ways: Access Card or Access Code. Before buying, be sure you have selected the type you want.
What's the difference between cards and codes?
Access Card: a physical card with an access code printed on it (often packaged with a textbook). This product must be shipped to you.
Access Code: a virtual code purchased online that can be used immediately after checkout.
End-of-chapter problems from this textbook are available in Connect: Chemistry for instructors to build assignments that are automatically graded and tracked through reports that export easily to Excel. Instructors can edit existing problems and write entirely new problems; track individual student performance—by problem, assignment, concept, or in relation to the class overall—with automatic grading; provide instant feedback to students; and store detailed grade reports securely online. Grade reports can be easily integrated with learning management systems such as WebCT and Blackboard. Single sign-on integration is available with the Blackboard course management system. Within Connect, instructors can also create and share materials with colleagues. Ask your McGraw-Hill representative for more information, and then check it out at www.mcgrawhillconnect.com/chemistry.
LearnSmart™ is an adaptive diagnostic learning system, powered by Connect: Chemistry and based on artificial intelligence, constantly assesses the student's knowledge of the course material. As they work within the system, LearnSmart™ develops a personal learning path adapted to what they have actively learned and retained. This innovative study tool also has features to allow the instructor to see exactly what the student has accomplished, with a built-in assessment tool for graded assignments. You can access LearnSmart for general chemistry by going to www.mcgraw-hillconnect.com/chemistry.
Connect: Chemistry also houses our Digital Lecture Capture: Tegrity. McGraw-Hill Tegrity Campus records and distributes your lecture with just a click of a button. Students can view anytime/anywhere via computer, iPod, or mobile device. Tegrity indexes as it records your slideshow presentations and anything shown on your computer, so students can use keywords to find exactly what they want to study.
