Teaching Culture in the Digital Millenium: 2002 Teleconference Video

This videoconference, filmed in 2002, is the seventh of the McGraw-Hill Teleconferences. The focus of this video is how the teaching of culture has changed as a result of advances in multimedia technology. Specific topics discussed include the teaching of Spanish via the Internet, how to represent language as a culturally embedded communicative practice, role of the instructor in the new digital environment, and how multimedia can transcend physical geographic borders in the teaching of culture.
